My research problem is regarding ergonomics and human centered design. It combines engineering and psychology which is why I am interested in the idea of creating something that is comfortable and accessible. So what I will be looking more into is , how the MouseCase can implement both those ideals.
I think human centered design is important because it takes into consideration the customer, rather than just making a product without asking others what is best. The MouseCase is a minimalist approach to the mouse and will help reduce any pain in the wrist. It is is a simple improvement to the mouse by making it on your phone. Now a days, everything is on your phone anyways.
The product includes diversity in the fact that it is useful for students and workers. It can be the next progression in the workplace and it is a cheap mouse. Its simplicity would make it easier for people to use.
Below is a picture of my boss' mouse which is a great example of ergonomics. It prevents any wrist injuries and possible Carpal Tunnel. It is easy to use, but in my opinion to large. The MouseCase would be an easy thing to carry around because it is something you already carry- your phone.
